Artistic Folio Photo Album

Day 16 out of 30 – The Minimalism Game

Items Discarded:

2 x Binders, 2 x VisCom Projects, 2 x old University Notebooks, 10 x completed Visual Diaries (spanning over 7 years), 1 x print folder including old prints, 2 x old portfolio books.
The Why…

Say hello to about 7 years worth of Visual Design & Photography Highschool and University work. Just a few folios I’ve collected. And for some reasons I’ve kept every single one of them.

In the past, it has been nice to look at these folios, read my old notes, laugh at the old ideas I had, experience shock at my unskilled Photoshop techniques. They are kind of like my artistic timecaspule.

But the reminiscing only lasts about 10 minutes, then back in the cupboard they go, collecting dust again and occasionally falling out and crashing into the ground (they are very precariously balanced!)

So I spent the afternoon, taking some pictures of my favourite pages and ripping up and recycling my folios.

Now I get to avoid a Health hazard, declutter my storage cupboard and recycle paper at the same time.  A triple Win situation!
